Winter month concert PÕIMUMISED Liisi Koikson and Joel Remmel

Liisi Koikson and Joel Remmel have been delighting music lovers in their homeland for several years. They share the stage both as a duo and with good friends. Over the years, they have accumulated numerous duo concerts in various places across Estonia, from large stages to cozy homes, culminating last autumn in the release of their first joint album, "Põimumised (Interweavings)."

Liisi and Joel's goal has been to perform together only those songs that they really like: "Although we would like several of the songs to be performed to be written by us, unfortunately, it is not like that. Therefore, we are extremely grateful for all the authors who have created plenty of eloquent songs and allowed us to perform them as well."
At the concert, you will hear a selection of music by beloved domestic authors and bands, which the duo has performed in a unique way over the years. Our rich and diverse pop music, by Genialistid, Dagö and Hendrik Sal-Saller, among many others, have provided more than enough material for this. It is well worth it to keep all this alive even more with new versions.

Despite the existence of the recording, both Liisi and Joel believe that the experience gained from the concert is still priceless and incomparable - the synergy that occurs in the hall with the audience is unique and often remains in memory for a long time. We need these uplifting and invigorating moments, especially at this time, when there is a lot of worry, fear and other negativity around and in our midst. Let's break through this together!
