An Evening of Experimental Music: TALLINN – NEW YORK

On a warm August evening, musicians from opposite sides of the globe will meet in the heart of Tallinn to improvise and create music for the joy of both the audience and themselves.
Lisa Karrer and David Simons from the USA, together with Estonia’s Tunnetusüksus, will present experimental and free improvisational music.
Their collaboration began in Tallinn in 1992 and has since taken them to the NYYD contemporary music festival in 1996 and the legendary Knitting Factory in New York in 1998.
The evening will feature spontaneous improvisations, arrangements of Estonian folk music, and original compositions by David Simons and Lisa Karrer.
